My stay at Hotel Siena was mixed. The location is bustling and interesting, but being in the heart of the red light district wasn't exactly what I expected. The room was larger than most I experienced in Japan, but I encountered a few issues that took away from my overall comfort.

Rooms
5.0
The room was larger by Japanese standards and clean, but I struggled with noise from the streets and occasional disturbances from other guests. The bed was firm, but the extra foldaway bed was uncomfortable. The air conditioning worked well, though.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and welcoming, but communication was a bit challenging due to limited English. They were helpful when I reported issues, but there was no housekeeping during my lengthy stay.
Location
5.0
It's located in Kabukicho, which is the red light district, so I wasn't prepared for the noise and activity. However, I felt safe wandering around and I loved being close to the nightlife and various eateries. Just be cautious if you're not comfortable in such areas.
Dining
6.0
I didn't really explore the dining options within the hotel, but it's worth noting that the area around has a variety of restaurants to try, including vegetarian options. A recommendation would be to check out nearby cafes.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities were okay, with some nice touches like a fridge and good bathroom supplies. However, I found the lack of internet connectivity to be pretty frustrating during my stay.

5.8/10

My recent stay at Hotel Siena was decent but a bit pricey for what I got. The location in Kabuki-cho was intriguing, though I wasn't entirely comfortable with the surrounding nightlife. While the room was clean and equipped with essentials, the lack of daily housekeeping over my nine-night stay was frustrating.

Rooms
6.0
The room was compact but clean, equipped with a firm double bed and an additional foldaway bed that was less comfortable. It had all the basic amenities like a TV, mini fridge, and air conditioning, making for a cozy stay.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally helpful. though the lack of housekeeping during my long stay was a bit disappointing. I could have asked for it, but after long days of sightseeing, I often felt too tired to bother.
Location
7.0
The hotel is ideally situated about a ten-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, which is convenient. However, being in the Kabuki-cho area, the nightlife can be overwhelming. making it less suitable for family stays.
Dining
6.0
While the dining options in the immediate area were plentiful, I didn't eat at the hotel itself, so I can't provide details on that. However, I did find local spots for hand-pulled noodles nearby, which were great!
Facilities
5.0
The hotel was equipped with important facilities like a hot water machine and a hairdryer, but the lack of wifi in the room was a downside. I also noted that the lobby had wifi, which helped.

I spent four nights at Hotel Siena, and while it's not a luxurious place, it offers great value for its prime location. The room was clean, although the furnishings felt a bit dated. The bustling surroundings provided plenty of dining and entertainment options, making it convenient for exploring Tokyo.

My room was comfortably sized and spotless. It included essential amenities such as tea-making facilities and a heated toilet seat, which I found quite nice.
Service
8.0
The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist me whenever needed.
Location
9.0
The location was ideal, just a 10-15 minute walk to Shinjuku Station. Despite being in a red light district, I felt safe walking in the area, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
Dining
8.0
There were numerous dining options and convenience stores nearby, which made grabbing food easy and convenient.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel provided a complete set of toiletries, which I appreciated. However, the overall decor and furniture felt a bit outdated.

I had an average stay at Hotel Siena. The room was spacious and the location in Kabuki-cho was lively, but I found the hotel a bit overpriced for what it offered. The lack of internet access was a nuisance, and some noise from the surrounding nightlife was noticeable, especially on weekends.

Rooms
6.0
The room was larger than most Japanese hotel rooms, and I appreciated having a big closet. However, the foldaway bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows didn't offer much support.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly, but their English wasn't great. I didn’t encounter any major issues requiring assistance, so it worked out fine for me.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located in Kabuki-cho, just a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku station, although the area felt a bit dodgy at times with some street activity around.
Dining
5.0
I didn't try any dining options at the hotel, but I found plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
Facilities

I was disappointed by the lack of internet and housekeeping throughout the stay. The bathroom amenities were nice, but the shower lacked proper ventilation.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Siena, enjoying its clean and comfortable room, but the experience was slightly marred by the noise from other guests. The hotel's location is fantastic, close to various restaurants and shopping areas, making it easy to explore Tokyo. While it's not a luxury hotel, the affordability and convenience make it a good choice for budget travelers. 😊

Rooms

My room was spacious by Japanese standards and equipped with all the essentials like tea-making facilities and toiletries. However, it felt a bit dated.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, which definitely enhanced my experience despite some language barriers.
Location

The hotel's location is perfect, just a short walk from Shinjuku station and surrounded by numerous dining and entertainment options.

While there are restaurants nearby, the hotel itself only offers basic dining options.
